Calgary business leaders tops

- BILL BROOKS

The recent Business in Calgary Leaders dinner saluted those in our community who strive to make Calgary the best city on Earth in which to live. From home building and land brokering, to restaurants and clothing retail, the list of those honoured reads like a who’s who in myriad industries.

Several hundred guests gathered at the Metropolitan Centre for the Leaders event hosted by Business in Calgary. Each year, Business in Calgary accepts nominations based on various criteria. A panel of three independent judges (MNP’s Trevor Winkler, Chiu School of Business dean David Allwright and ATB Financial’s Dan Allen) review said nominations and select the top 20 business leaders to receive the prestigious Business in Calgary Leaders Award.
