Graffiti tub adds art to bathroom

-

There’s a very cool tension in the notion of relaxing and getting clean while submersed in a bathtub covered in graffiti, that art form born of grittiness. The Graffiti tub is hand-painted, too, but not in a back alley or underpass.

It’s one of three free-standing stone resin Kanvas tub designs released by Aquabrass, a Montreal manufacturer of bathroom fixtures. There’s also a Pax version, suitable for Zenscape retreats, and a Mosaik design that’s a little more classic but still colourful.

They measure slightly more than 58x26x21 inches (147x66x53 cm). The Pax goes for $7,995; Graffiti and Mosaik for $8,995. Let’s just hope the kids don’t see your new Graffiti tub as permission to start tagging the rest of the house. See aquabrass.com/sections/new.
