Produced in partnership with Just For Laughs Television and The Movie Network, Tony awardwinning actor, comedian, TV star and magician Neil Patrick Harris can now add the word “ringmaster” to his resume. Filmed at the 2015 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, this 75-minute special features gravity-defying acrobat Hugo Desmarais, the incredible beatboxing Beardyman, juggling sensation Nicolas Fortin, Australian puppet-human comedy duo Sammy J & Randy, comedian Brad Williams, sword-swallower Brett Loudermilk, cabaret superstar Bridget Everett, mysterious magician Ed Alonzo and towering circus clown and singer extraordinaire Puddles Pity Party. RACE FOR THE WHITE HOUSE
A circus of a different kind is what’s being offered with this new series featuring the contests between presidential candidates to win the U.S. presidency. The première, which aired a couple of weeks ago, featured the battle between John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon. It airs again today, followed by a repeat of last Sunday’s program, which looked at the contest between Abraham Lincoln and Stephen A. Douglas. (CNN)
