Guy’s Grocery Games

-

The title of tonight’s new episode, Grandma’s Grocery Games, looks promising as four seasoned and spunky grandmothers compete against each other under the watchful eye of host Guy Fieri. In the first round, the chefs make a version of their grandkids’ favourite dish (four variations of mac and cheese?), then their budgeting and coupon-clipping skills are put to the test. A family recipe cook-off features three weird ingredients. (Food Network)

MOTIVE

If you missed the premiere of the fourth and final season of this homegrown cop show when it aired earlier this week, you can catch a repeat tonight. Oscar Vega (Louis Ferreira) begins his new duties as staff sergeant, Dets. Angie Flynn (Kristin Lehman) and Brian Lucas (Brendan Penny) build their own professional relationship and new personnel are introduced. (CTV)

THE FIRST 48: KILLER ON THE RUN

There are two new episodes on tap tonight. First up is Nowhere to Hide, in which the police investigation into the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old man at an apartment complex becomes more complicated when it is learned the killer’s intended target was actually the victim’s friend. That’s followed by Blackout in which Dallas police investigate a 22-year-old robbery victim who was tied up and shot along with two of his friends, leading to a manhunt across the country. (A&E)

MOVIE: ZATHURA: A SPACE ADVENTURE

Appreciate your siblings while you can — before your house is whisked to outer space and aliens try to kill you. Jonah Bobo and Josh Hutcherson star as brothers who are left in the care of their older sister (Kristen Stewart). To avoid boredom, they play an old game they find, which takes them to places they’ve never been. Tim Robbins and Dax Shepard also star in this 2005 companion to Jumanji. ( YTV)
