Cars are on their way out

If city council accepts the “if it saves one life” mantra, they should lower the speed limit to seven km/h (walking speed) and make sure all vehicles, including bicycles, observe it.

Alternatively, they could ban motorized vehicles and return to horse and cart. That would increase methane emissions, but you can’t have it all. Tony Yarranton, Calgary
