Bond-films director Hamilton dead at 93

A hospital on Spain’s Mediterranean island of Mallorca says James Bond movie director Guy Hamilton has died at age 93. Hamilton directed Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever, with Sean Connery and Live And Let Die and The Man With The Golden Gun with Roger Moore. He lived on Mallorca and the Hospital Juaneda Miramar in Palma de Mallorca said Thursday that Hamilton had died there a day earlier. Moore tweeted he was “incredibly, incredibly saddened to hear the wonderful director Guy Hamilton has gone to the great cutting room in the sky.”
