Drysdale ring sells for $110K

Don Drysdale’s 1963 World Series championsh­ip ring with the Los Angeles Dodgers sold for US$110,111 in an auction of the late Hall of Fame pitcher’s memorabili­a. A spokesman for SCP Auctions says the ring was purchased by an anonymous buyer in the sale that ended late Saturday. Drysdale’s 1962 Cy Young Award as the National League’s top pitcher sold for US$100,100. Drysdale’s 1965 World Series championsh­ip ring went for US$90,999, while his 1956 Brooklyn Dodgers gameworn rookie uniform fetched US$82,727.
