Gala to support Calgary seniors

A June 3 gala will raise money to support Calgary seniors in need.

The event, which will feature a private performance by Tom Jackson, is organized by the Calgary Seniors’ Resource Society. The society supports vulnerable seniors who suffer from problems including low income, limited mobility, isolation and health issues.

The gala, called One for the Ages, will be held at Ranchmen’s Club, 710 13th Ave. S.W. The honorary chair is local philanthropist and oilpatch/business guru Jim Gray.
