Forum focuses on city animals

-

From the fur trade and Stampede to urban chickens and coyotes, Calgary has a long history with animals. On Friday, a community forum entitled Calgary: City of Animals and hosted by the Calgary Institute for the Humanities will explore that history.

The forum will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Kahanoff Centre in Calgary.

It’s open to the public and a limited number of spots are still available. Call 403-220-7238 or email cih@ucalgary.ca for more information or to register.
