The real Mayor Naheed Nenshi

Re: “City calls in integrity boss,” April 26.

I was extremely saddened, ashamed and embarrassed to view the video of Calgary’s mayor, where he disparages Uber and its management.

I made a point of viewing the entire video, which reveals the real man behind the facade.

It is so apparent to me after I watched the video, that the mayor is not who he seems to be.

In his apology for his rant, he says he is “better than that.” I am not so sure.

I think he is the person in the video. He is so full of hubris, ego, arrogance, bias and bad judgment. He was the one who volunteered the horrible remarks.

I can only hope that in the next election, a quality mayoralty candidate can take over the leadership of a city that deserves better.
