This year’s slate of inductees include Cheap Trick, Chicago, Deep Purple, N.W.A and Steve Miller at the ceremony from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., a TV special that counts Tom Hanks among its executive producers. JAZZ AT THE WHITE HOUSE
The day after the event’s staging, a gathering of music titans is condensed into this new special. Aretha Franklin, Sting, Herbie Hancock and Al Jarreau are on the roster to celebrate the fifth annual International Jazz Day, with U.S. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama as hosts of the occasion. The April 29 scheduling commemorates the birthdate of jazz icon (and Washington, D.C., native) Duke Ellington. (ABC)
MARVEL’S CAPTAIN AMERICA: 75 HEROIC YEARS
One of the most iconic characters in comics has been around a long time, and the repeat of this special salutes that run by showing how Steve Rogers and his shield-toting alter ego have evolved over the years. Chris Evans, who plays the part in the current Marvel movies, is among the interviewees here. So are Hayley Atwell — the title star of Marvel’s Agent Carter — and relatives of Captain America creators Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. (ABC)

A case hits at the heart of the Navy in the repeat episode React, as the daughter (Caitlin Carver) of secretary Sarah Porter (returning guest star Leslie Hope) is kidnapped. T.C. Fornell (fellow returnee Joe Spano) is among the FBI agents working with Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and company to rescue the victim.
