Aries (March 21-April 19): Avoid arguments with romantic partners. Avoid arguments with your kids. Avoid arguments about sports. Avoid arguments about social occasions, especially with restaurants and hotels. Avoid arguments! (I think you get the picture.) Taurus (April 20-May 20): This is the classic day for a domestic quarrel with someone close. It might relate to home repairs or decorating projects. But this kind of argument is ego oriented. If you can lighten up, things will get better. What about humour? Gemini (May 21-June 20): Count to three before responding to others because knee-jerk reactions will get you in trouble. Interaction with contacts, especially job related, could be irritating. Think before you speak. Cancer (June 21-July 22): Arguments about possessions or money are likely today. The irony is that if you sidestep them, you’ll have mental energy for financial matters. If you blow your cool, you might blow your advantage. Leo (July 23-Aug. 22): Mercury is in your sign, and today it’s at odds with fiery Mars. This means everyone is looking for a fight! Protect yourself by being noble and regal. (“We” don’t stoop to fighting.) Adopt this same persona if verbally attacked by anyone. Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Something going on behind the scenes roils your peace of mind today. You might be so irritated you want to give someone a piece of your mind. But is this wise? Your temporary satisfaction from mouthing off will be short-lived. Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): You are an excellent debater, but don’t like arguing with others. Therefore, avoid nasty debates about financial matters with friends. And don’t get involved with a group. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Do not get involved in a heated argument with a parent, boss, VIP or the police today. It’s a no-brainer. If there is something important you have to say and this person has authority or clout — wait until Monday. Do yourself this favour. Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): This is a bad day for discussions about politics, religion and racial issues. People are looking for a fight. “A soft answer turns away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger.” Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Squabbles about inheritances, shared property, taxes and debt are likely today. Or it might be about funding. Whatever the case, be diplomatic, courteous and patient because why lose a friend over this?
