Giving back to the community

-

Since Spruce Meadows opened its doors in 1975, it has received incredible support from fans, volunteers and sponsors. Spruce Meadows is committed to returning that generosity by giving back to the community in meaningful way.

The Spruce Meadows Leg Up Foundation is committed to supporting education, health, wellness, amateur and grassroots sports and will be raising funds throughout the year for these key areas.

The Spruce Meadows Leg Up Foundation is proud of the fact that it will support a broad range of initiatives and charities, from families facing the illness of a child to organizations that assist in our community, and student athletes. With your support, the Foundation will create positive change and will touch many lives. The Spruce Meadows Leg Up Foundation is available to give our communities a “leg up” or helping hand. Funds raised are allocated by the board of directors to support charitable initiatives in the areas of amateur sport, education, health and wellness.

The Foundation’s mission is to support initiatives that bring positive change to the communities that mean so much to us. In the 2016 FEI tournament season the Leg Up Foundation has committed to supporting the disaster relief efforts in Fort McMurray. Leading up to the Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ more than $100,000 has been raised.
