This is Us celebrates birth of the triplets

-

The stars of This is Us are just like us — they get emotional over the breakout NBC hit, too.

“They’re shooting an episode right now, and I read the script and, like, hyperventilated,” Mandy Moore recently told Entertainment Tonight.

“I literally had to text Dan (Fogelman), our creator, and was like, ‘People aren’t going to be ready for this, ’cause I’m not ready for this.’ ”

Tonight’s episode will flash back to a pivotal moment for Moore’s character Rebecca Pearson and her husband Jack, played by Milo Ventimiglia.

“It takes place in the past, and it’s the backstory for the day the triplets are born,” said Moore, who earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role.

“It’s just Milo and I, and then Dr. K’s story and then the fireman’s story.

“It’s a really interesting and special episode in that it’s only telling the story from the past.”

The instalment, titled The Big Day, airs on CTV and NBC.

VILLAIN RETURNS ON BETTER CALL SAUL

And from This Is Us to This Is Gus. Gus Fring, purveyor of drugs and fried chicken on Breaking Bad, will appear on Season 3 of Better Call Saul, says TV Line.

The character, for which Giancarlo Esposito received an Emmy nomination, died in Breaking Bad but the door was still open for him to appear on Better Call Saul since it’s a prequel.

Esposito and the Better Call Saul cast appeared at the Television Critics Association winter media tour to promote the show’s third season, which debuts April 10 on AMC.

He hinted that Gus won’t be the villain extraordinaire we remember him as on Breaking Bad.

“We’re at a time where he’s a little more immature than where we left off.

“He’s still finding his way.” Esposito added.

“It would be wonderful for me to (see) the rise of Gus, because I think there’s enough backstory within Gus to support that.”
