Gratuitous violence is too commonplace

Why should Facebook be singled out for violent posts on its site? Hollywood has been displaying and promoting violence and destruction in their movies for decades and they are broadcast on television daily. Television series specialize in crime and other forms of violence to the delight of viewers.

Are the objections because no one is making a profit from Facebook posts?
