November 25: Foothills United Church, 3803 - 69th St. N.W. is holding its 27th annual craft fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring jewelry, wood crafts, scroll work, knitted and crocheted items, Christmas decoration­s, wreaths, cards and more. Admission is free.

November 25: Join us for the 23rd annual Deer Park United Church turkey supper and silent auction. Sittings at 5 p. m. and 6: 45 p. m. Ticket prices: adults $ 20, seniors $ 15, children ( 6-12) $ 10, and children under 6 are free; family ( 2 adults/ 3 children) $ 50. November 26: At 10 a.m. service for Christ the King Sunday before Advent, “When the Son of Man comes in all his glory, and the angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory,” with Pastor Deborah Kerr at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church at 8007 Bowness Road N.W. Following worship service enjoy fellowship, baking and beverages.

November 30: St. Paul’s Anglican Church: Service of Solace — a service of healing and hope at 7:30 p.m. This quiet and gentle evening of worship is especially designed for those for whom this Christmas is a time of sickness, sadness, grief, loneliness or wistful rememberin­g. December 2: McDougall’s 11th annual famous Christmas Cookie Walk; 8516 Athabasca St. S.E. Doors open at 10 a.m. Come and select Christmas baking already done for you.
