HOROSCOPES FOR 2018

What’s in store for you this year?

-

Two planetary shifts tell the tale of major change for 2018. The first shift occurred in October when Jupiter entered the sign of Scorpio for the first time in 12 years. Jupiter always increases and magnifies! Meanwhile, the sign of Scorpio governs sex and secrets.

Sure enough, that month, the New York Times revealed sexual allegations against Harvey Weinstein, the first of a kaleidoscope of charges against successful men misusing their influence. This expose of sexual secrets will continue, along with scandals about the media, universities, the church and foreign countries. (Russia springs to mind.) Jupiter will stay in Scorpio until November this year.

The second planetary change is the shift of Saturn into its own sign of Cap- ricorn for the first time since, 1989-’90. This happens once every 29 years and is a sobering influence. It marks a return to conservatism. People will want to “fit in.” They will seek respect and approval. There will be more focus on aging; and there will be excessive materialism and greed.

There will be a heightened demand for high quality. Saturn in Capricorn hates waste and values long-lasting durability and excellence. Fashion will be conservative, classy and elegant.

This year will champion apple pie, motherhood and the flag, plus 2.5 kids, a white picket fence, and a happy family with no cavities. But behind this Norman Rockwell facade is strict control and fear of scandal. Conceal a flaw and the world imagines the worst.
