Q Condominiums in Sage Hill Quarter designed with convenience in mind

Morrison Homes Multi-Family embraces this idea with its planned new project in the northwest Calgary community of Sage Hill.
Q Condominiums in Sage Hill Quarter will feature two condo buildings surrounded by about 240,000 square feet of commercial space.
Sage Hill Quarter by developer Ronmor, is under construction on a site that measures about 6.8 hectares on Shaganappi Trail and Sage Valley Drive N.W.
Pre-construction sales on these condos are expected to open with the unveiling of a presentation centre and as how suite this spring.
“It’s something that’s different in our market,” says Rob Kennedy, president of Morrison Homes Multi-Family.
Kennedy compares the walk ability offered at this development to something more commonly seen in downtown Calgary. But with a starting price planned for the low $200,000s, Q Condominiums is a more affordable option.
“It’s all based on lifestyle,” says Kennedy of Q’s appeal, using the example of a Saturday spent running errands.
“You get in your vehicle and drive to pick up your groceries, drive to wash your car, drive to pick up a bottle of wine, to pick up your dry cleaning, and your day is gone,” Kennedy says. “Here, you leave your car in the parkade, you get up, walk to the grocery store, the drugstore, the gym.”
To this point, a Co-op grocery store, Co-op liquor store, and Coop gas station have been confirmed as tenants. But Kennedy says the plan is for a “well-rounded” lineup of businesses.
Q Condominiums will have 175 condos, with 100 units in one building and 75 in the other.
The floor plan selection includes one- and two-bedroom orientations. Some of the two-bedroom options will have two bathrooms. They’ll range from 564 square feet to 900 square feet.
“This building will offer great value at every price point,” Kennedy says.
Sage Hill Quarter will have a pond, small plaza and pedestrian links throughout the site.
Construction on the first condo building is slated to start later this year, with first possessions in late 2019.
