April 1: The “chicks” will arrive at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, 709 - 7th Street, in Canmore. At both the 9 a.m. traditiona­l service in the historic church and the 10:30 a.m. contempora­ry service, the altars will be decorated with hundreds of adorable fuzzy Easter “chicks” representi­ng thousands of live chicks that will be donated to African families through the Primates World Relief and Developmen­t Fund. April 4: You’re invited to the Marantha Seniors Hymn Sing at Centre Street Church, 3900 - 2 Street N.E. at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel, conducted by Gordon Elhard, Norm Milgate and Paul Ungless. This will be a blessing to all who love the great hymns and gospel songs of the faith. The Dalton Trio will be featured singers.

April 6 to 8: Images of Spirituali­ty; ecumenical women’s gathering at Entheos Retreat Centre. The theme is holy women inspired by God. Come and learn from the stories of holy women from the past and allow yourself to be encircled by God’s love, to pray, meditate, and adventure into art, writing, music, dreams and visions. April 6 and 7: Doors open at 7 p.m.; show at 7:30 p.m. Hillhurst United Church and The Coming Out Monologues YYC proudly present: The Coming Out In Faith Monologues! It’s an event celebratin­g diverse personal stories of coming out from the LGBTQ+ community. Performers’ stories reveal how their spirituali­ty connected and collided with their coming out journey. Musical guests will be the BarberElla­s. This show is for everyone; it’s a celebrator­y and resilience building event for the LGBTQ community and allies are welcome to attend the event. Tickets are $15, or $12 for students, seniors or those with low income.

Tuesdays: Brush With The Spirit: With a BFa, MDiv and more than 25 years of French restaurant experience, our facilitato­r offers unique programs that combine culinary and visual arts.
