Left-leaning people think they are right

Re: “UCP showed ‘who they are’ with resolution on GSAs, Notley says,” May 8. A pox on everyone scoring points, or making a living off the gay-straight alliance debate.

Too many people on soap boxes telling us what to think, as opposed to helping people learn how to think.

More bothersome to me is that left-leaning people always expect their beliefs to be supported, while right-leaning people always have their beliefs challenged.

There are three sides to every story: yours, mine and somewhere in the middle, the truth.

My father taught me that when two people agree on everything, only one person is thinking.
