Arrests made after street fight

A second person has been arrested in connection with an assault that left a man in life-threatenin­g condition. Police say one man has been charged and another is wanted on a warrant in relation to the incident. Early July 2, police were called to Mike’s Family Billiards on 32nd Avenue N.E. for reports of a fight outside. Officers found a man in serious condition. He was taken to hospital, where he remains in life-threatenin­g condition. Investigat­ors believe two groups got into a physical altercatio­n. Kelsey Larry Houle, 21, of Calgary was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of common assault. Police have also taken Daniel Deandre Sparks, 31, into custody on a warrant for aggravated assault.
