Veteran supermodel starring in Yves Saint Laurent winter campaign
Supermodel Kate Moss has returned to fashion house Yves Saint Laurent as the brand’s new winter fashion campaign star.
The 44-year-old’s new ads, shot by Inez and Vinoodh, feature the model on a secluded beach, rolling around seductively in the water, wearing a floral dress designed by Anthony Vaccarello.
Moss also stars in a video for the #YSL17 Winter 2018 campaign, which was also directed by Inez and Vinoodh.
The campaign comes months after Moss returned as the face of the fashion house in November, after 10 years.
The model was previously featured in the Saint Laurent S/S 2018 campaign, which was also styled by Vaccarello.
Meanwhile, Moss’s toned physique is on full display in the new ad, and last year she revealed she had started to visit a gym, after years of famously refusing to work out, to maintain her enviable figure.
“I’ve never been a gym bunny or anything like that,” she told W magazine. “I was always, like, ‘Ugh!’ It made me feel ill, but now I’ve actually started working out. I’m really quite into it. I’m at very early stages, but I’ve joined a gym and all that, and it’s made me feel really good.”
And she is still thrilled to be working after 30 years in the business.
“I still turn up for work wanting to get a picture that hasn’t been done,” she told The Guardian. “I still get excited, and I like being part of the process of creating an image. I mean, I’m still shocked when I get a campaign!”
