AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE BYLAW 1P2007 BYLAW 51P2018
Land Use Bylaw 1P2007 is amended to include a definition for freight rail corridor, addition of Map 3.1, which outlines where these corridors are throughout the city, and amendments to section 28 and 38. The proposed amendments enable the Development Authority to condition both permitted and discretionary uses and to implement the requirements of the proposed Development Next to the Freight Rail Corridor Policy. AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE BYLAW 1P2007 BYLAW 52P2018
This bylaw proposes amendments to Land Use Bylaw (LUB) 1P2007 to exempt change of use development permits for buildings on the Inventory of Evaluated Historic Resources within the “Centre City Enterprise Area”. These amendments will help fill vacancies in historic buildings by reducing one part of the application process when attracting new businesses, as long as there are no changes to the exterior of these buildings.
