No mulligan for this golfer

Re: “Golfer hit in leg by stray bullet,” Aug. 28.

As an amateur golfer who has played on myriad golf courses, I understand rules are there for the betterment of all players.

This, however, is the most severe penalty for slow play I have ever heard of.
