ROGERS’ RETURN NOT IMMINENT

-

Eric Rogers was running up and down the sidelines during Thursday’s Stampeders practice.

The star receiver is making progress toward a return from the six-game injured list, but nobody should start holding their breath for an imminent return just yet.

“I’m not expecting anything in the near future,” said Stampeders head coach Dave Dickenson. “I know he is getting better. We’ll just have to see what happens.”

It’s unlikely Rogers will return within the next three weeks and the Stampeders are going to be patient as he recovers.

He had missed the better part of two years with a knee injury before returning to the Stamps at the end of training camp and having a big impact in the first couple games of this season.
