IT’S TIME FOR UNITY OVER PIPELINE ISSUES

-

There is truth in the saying: “Together we stand … divided we fall.”

The pipeline makes economic sense for all of Canada and it’s time our political leaders worked together to find solutions. Using the pipeline as a political football to score votes is morally wrong and self-defeating.

UCP Leader Jason Kenney and Alberta Party Leader Stephen Mandel need to speak up about the peril of pipeline delay, rather than using this as a platform to slam Premier Rachel Notley. We want to know where you stand on the issue.

B.C. is vulnerable to rail and marine disasters with current oil shipping and we need them to be part of a solution. And the wishy-washy federal government needs to take proactive action on Western Canada’s issues while educating our Quebec and Ontario friends about oil as an economic driver from which they benefit.

Notley has been clear and decisive, and yes, we are fed up.
