Youths face murder charge after man goes missing

Two youths have been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a man whose body was found Aug. 26.

No further details about the identities of those charged were released by police, in adherence to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Police identified the victim as Jason David Peter Greyeyes. He was 48.

Greyeyes was reported missing Aug. 11. His body was found in the 21,000 block of Sheriff King Street S.W.

It is Calgary’s 11th homicide of 2018.
