Alcohol ruled out as cause of Sask. crash that killed six
ELROSE, SASK. RCMP have ruled out alcohol as a factor in the June 29 crash that killed six people in southwest Saskatchewan.
A former Humboldt Broncos player and his young family from Rosetown were among the dead in the collision near Elrose. Police say a northbound SUV with a lone driver crossed into the southbound lane of Highway 4 and collided with a second SUV carrying five people.
Police said the cause is unknown.
