We need more scrutiny of voters

I have sent an email asking my councillor why we allow people with just a driver’s licence to vote? To no surprise, no reply. I called Elections Canada and asked the same question. They did not have an answer either.

With the very important Olympic, provincial and federal elections soon upon us, you would think that there would be Passport Proof ID needed for citizens to get the right to put their “X” on the ballot sheets. Can we please have this implemented before these elections?
