It seems we’ve stumbled into Superman’s Bizarro world where everything is surreal. Canada has been deemed to be a security threat to the U.S. to justify absurd tariffs on steel and aluminum by President Trump. Ontario’s Premier Doug Ford is prepared to use the Charter’s “notwithstanding ” clause to downsize Toronto’s city council, partway into a civic election.
And in this ‘dream world,’ it’s been rumoured that Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is so emboldened by Ford’s use of the “notwithstanding ” clause that he, too, will invoke this clause, and all three pipelines (two of which he previously cut off at the knees and the other one he ended up buying) are back on the table. To his naysayers, he’s been heard to say “Just watch me.”
It’s a crazy world out there, folks.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Battle the global leftists with every tool in the box. Go Ford. Go Trump.
It is a literal translation of Turd Eau. Do Shites swim?
The Turd would never use the notwithstanding clause against his friends, the Indians. He wants to be one of them, and his name would be Chief Shitty Water!
Canada's worst terrorists are homegrown. They are the activists who believe that their "cause" is the only path to be followed. If we hosted the Olympics, which I do not support, the biggest fear would be these activists causing disruptions.
The 'reality' for the last several years is how the courts at all levels are stacked with left wing progressive judges who are forcing the country into socialism. Yes something has to be done about this.
Of course Canada is now a terrorist threat. Many, many people coming with minimal vetting from corners of the world where terrorism is mainstay. Couple that with an unguarded border into the US. Simple logic. Trudeau and Butts don't believe in pipelines so none will ever be built unless the perceive a real threat to the Liberals not being re-elected with a majority. Even then it will just be a bone of enticement.
Sorry Gordon … I think you are dreaming if you think our fluffy, groper PM will put any pipelines "back on the table" … (even the one which was already paid for that he bought with our money).
The pipeline isn’t even eligible for not withstanding regardless.
