RCMP lay charges after search of alleged drug den

Three people have been charged with traffickin­g drugs on the Siksika First Nation.

On Tuesday, Mounties from the Gleichen detachment searched a suspected drug den. Three people were arrested and police say an investigat­ion revealed people living in the home were dealing nerve pain medication to users on the reserve.

Crystal Bullchief, 44, Melfort Threesuns, 50, and Charlene Raweater, 19, are charged with possession for the purpose of traffickin­g. All three were released and are scheduled to appear in Siksika Provincial Court on Sept. 20.
