Manhole covers artfully done

Re: New-look manhole covers bring a touch of art to Calgary streets, Sept. 17 Congratulations to the city on the newly designed manhole covers. I believe this is a great addition to the city’s art works.

Thank goodness the city’s Art Committee, approvers of the Great Blue Ring and the COP’s vertical Rock Garden, wasn’t involved in the process. I’m sure they would have wanted square or triangular “people covers” with upraised spikes.
