Floor-crosser plays both sides

Re: Defection another sign thrill has gone; Liberal MP joins Tories, but PM retains lead in polls, Opinion, Sept. 18 “Hand in the cookie jar” Leona Alleslev hedged her reelection bet by changing parties. A little research would have found her recent claims of praise to the Liberals, Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland to be gushy positive. I wonder which statements she really means?
