Why we love it: This new handbag from the American ready-towear and accessories designer Michael Kors is the perfect accessory addition for fall.

The structured shape ensures it’s elegant, while the slightly larger shape means it will fit all the day’s — and night’s essentials.

We love it in this on-trend oxblood shade, but the Whitney bag is also available in a wide variety of other hues including light tan (dubbed Acorn), black, red and more. The style is also on offer in a variety of sizes and finishes, but we’re partial to this glossy, slightly crinkled calf leather. The high-shine finish gives it a ’70s vibe that’s so perfect for the ongoing throwback style vibes.

The bag also boasts an easily adjustable chain so that it can be worn in hand, on the shoulder or cross-body for a hands-free appeal. Meanwhile, inside, the spacious interior has more than enough space for keys, a wallet, phone and more. (And the logolined interior fabric is pretty cute, too.)

Safe to say we can foresee this silhouette shaping up to be a staple for the Michael Kors brand. And we can see why. It’s chic and slightly retro, but also totally right now.
