Qantas pulls the plug on its music options
Australia’s national carrier, Qantas, is pulling the plug on inflight music and radio channels during domestic and some trans-Tasman flights. The airline said a review of its entertainment options revealed fewer than 10 per cent of passengers were listening to ondemand music. Most flyers listen to music stored on their own devices. It said it would be rolling out inflight Wi-Fi on its domestic services that would allow passengers to stream music on their own devices.
