CORRECTION

A story on page A3 of the Saturday Herald contained incorrect information regarding the amount of government investment that would flow into Calgary, if the city is successful in its bid efforts to host the 2026 Olympic Games. In fact, the investment would include up to $1.5 billion in federal government funds only earmarked for international sporting events and $2.2 billion in private sector investment (including broadcast revenues, sponsorship, ticketing, licensing, merchandise and other related streams) that would come to Calgary in the event of a successful bid.
