Nobody bothered to check man
Sunday at about 8:45 p.m. I was on my way home from the Hitmen hockey game when at Stampede station I encountered an Indigenous man asleep/passed out at the top of the stairs.
I noticed that all the people simply walked around him and didn’t stop to check his condition. Neither did any of the five transit system employees who were working there.
This I found not only embarrassing to see but also disrespectful of another person’s life.
Is this what the once beautiful and friendly city of Calgary has turned into? Shame on us all.
