Living beyond our means

Re: Letter to Editor, “Sinking in a sea of indebtedness” Oct, 2 Sinking into a sea of indebtedness, or a sea of heartbreak. Heartbreak because many of our political leaders refuse to acknowledge Canada’s “out of control debt” and merrily continue to spend money they do not have. “Budgets will balance themselves,” says our prime minister.

The only hope on the horizon is that new political leaders are emerging from across Canada who understand the benefits of living within our means and working toward balancing our country’s books.
