HOUSTON BLOCKS ‘LOVE DOLLS BROTHEL’ OPENING

HOUSTON A Canadian company that wanted to open a so-called robot brothel in Houston has been stopped by a change in city bylaws.

The company, Kinky SdollS, had said it planned to open a “love dolls brothel” in which people would be able to use its human-like dolls on the premises.

The company opened such a brothel in Toronto last year.

Houston’s city council on Wednesday unanimously approved a change to a city ordinance that regulates sexually-oriented businesses.

The change would ban individuals from having sex with an “anthropomorphic device,” a device resembling a human being.
