Three arrested after weapons, drugs seized
Three people were arrested in Lethbridge after police seized eight grams of what they suspect is carfentanil, along with other drugs and weapons.
The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) searched a home in west Lethbridge on Sept. 27 with the help of local police.
Officers seized eight grams of methamphetamine, 188 grams of a cocaine buffing agent and 19 grams of cannabis, along with the suspected carfentanil.
ALERT also seized various weapons and stolen property, including bicycles, electronics and tools, from the home.
Curtis Carbert, 38, and Devin Jones, 28, are charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public.
Chassidy Morin, 39, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of credit card data.
