Natural ‘disaster’ Brought Us Together

Re: Early snow slams city; Snow route parking ban declared as neighbouring cities offer plows to clear roads, Oct. 3

I’d like to give a big thanks to Edmonton, Medicine Hat, Red Deer and Okotoks for supplying equipment to help clear all that snow off our streets. It’s not often you can have a big dump of snow in one part of the province and practically nothing elsewhere, so it’s nice to see idle equipment delegated to where it’s needed most.

With province that’s divided in so many ways, sometimes you need a natural “disaster” to bring people and communities together.
