Villas of Silverado unveils luxurious show homes

- ANDREA COX

The master-planned community of Dressage in Silverado raises the curtain on the community ’s latest and final enclave of homes today with the grand opening of three new bungalow-style villa show homes.

The show homes are part of the Villas of Silverado, a private collection of 50 open-concept villa homes by StreetSide Developments.

An event to celebrate the launch starts at noon and will include a bevy of activities from food trucks to show home tours.

“This will be the last chance to purchase in Dressage in Silverado before it is completed,” says Darcey Robertson, area manager for StreetSide Developments in Silverado.

The collection of homes features two floor plans — the Morgan and the Meadows. Both offer singlelevel living in luxurious style with the master suite on the main floor and generous square footages ranging from 1,188 square feet to 1,222 square feet.

Upgraded lower level development can double the square footage and add up to two additional bedrooms. Buyers can personalize the home with three different lower-level floor plans.

Standard interior finishes include vinyl plank flooring, stainless steel appliances, designer lighting and granite or quartz countertops. A main floor den, a gourmet kitchen with eating bar, walk-in pantry and chimney hood fan, as well as a main-floor laundry room with oversized quartz counter all add to the livability quotient.

“Because of the design, we are mainly catering to down-sizers, and really the sky is the limit when it comes to personalization and upgrades,” says Robertson.

The exteriors are just as beautiful as the interior spaces in these homes. Craftsman and Prairie styling blend into the architectural symmetry of the established community of Silverado, which nudges the perimeter of Spruce Meadows, one of the world’s finest equestrian facilities.

Grocery stores, pubs, coffee shops and restaurants are all within walking distance, while major big box retailers, movie theatres, the public library, YMCA and the LRT station are five minutes by car.

“We are really in the premiere part of the community,” says Robertson. “Literally at the back door of the homes is Radio Tower Creek with 80 acres of environmental reserve. And you can see Spruce Meadows. That view will never change.”

The show homes are located at 101, 20 Silverado Crest Park S.W. For more information, please visit liveinsilverado.com.
