THC VS. CBD AND INDICA VS. SATIVA STRAINS:

Tetrahydride cannabidiol, or THC, is the main psychoactive component in pot which gives users a euphoric high. Some strains of cannabis are grown to increase the amount of THC contained within the plant, making those strains much more potent.

Cannabidiol, also known as CBD for short, is another cannabinoid that doesn’t get users high in the same way as THC. Unlike THC, CBD is mostly non-psychoactive and produces more of a “body high” in users. Medical marijuana users often look for a product or strain high in CBD and low in THC.

Recreational cannabis comes in two main strains, either Indica or Sativa, with some plants being a hybrid of both. Indica strains tend to provide a sense of deep body relaxation.

Sativa strains, on the other hand, often give users a more energizing cannabis experience. Hybrid strains combine the attributes of both Indica and Sativa and can provide different types of effects, depending on the level of THC or CBD in the strain.
