Stray Cats plan new album
Rockabilly band Stray Cats will release a new album to mark its 40th anniversary. Original band members Slim Jim Phantom, Brian Setzer and Lee Rocker are planning to hit a studio in Nashville, Tenn., to record their first album together in 25 years. The project will be released to coincide with their anniversary in 2019. The reformed trio is also mapping out plans for a full tour. “We have an album’s worth of new songs that are classic rockabilly while keeping the music and style current and fresh, like always,” said Phantom.
