Broderick joins The Conners

Matthew Broderick has landed a part in The Conners. The actor is joining the ABC/CTV sitcom in the role of Peter, a love interest for Jackie, played by Laurie Metcalf, according to Entertainment Weekly. It’s unclear how many episodes Broderick will appear in since he is also joining the Netflix program Daybreak, based on the graphic novel by Brian Ralph. The Conners premièred in the U.S. last week, with audiences finally learning how Roseanne Barr’s character was written off following her firing from the Roseanne reboot in May.
