Re: Olympic bid chair expects ‘good deal’ for cost-sharing, Oct. 19

It is time to ask all city councillors a serious question, especially those who are so exuberantly promoting the 2026 Olympics: Will you give up your City of Calgary pension plan if the 2026 Olympics suffer a cost overrun or suffer a deficit?

It is very unfair, if not outright dishonest, for you to ask Calgary taxpayers to not only pay for your pension, but also for your mistakes.
