TOP REPUBLICAN AVOIDS CHARGES OVER GROPINGS

-

INDIANAPOLIS A special prosecutor said Tuesday he will not charge Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill, pictured, with a crime even though he believes four women who say Hill drunkenly groped them at a party in March. Lawyers for the women who accuse Hill said the case isn’t over because they plan to file a civil lawsuit against Hill.

Special prosecutor Daniel Sigler said he considered bringing battery charges against Hill, a Republican. But he said there was not sufficient evidence to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.
