On Sept. 6 the Calgary Herald quoted an estimate for the 2026 Olympic Games of $5.8 billion. On Oct. 20 the Calgary Herald says the 2018 Winter Olympic Games had 2,992 athletes and 102 events.
Are we really considering spending that amount of money on those few people, which works out to $1,938,502 per athlete? Almost $2 million per athlete? Give your head a shake. Laura Rogers, Calgary

Not too many pay taxes here that is for sure. Anyone with mobility is not going to stay in DF Canada. Look at tennis player Bouchard. I know, that is far to complicated for a canadian to figure out.
