Martin helps Puerto Rico

Ricky Martin is aiming to build or restore 100 homes for hurricane-hit Puerto Ricans by Dec. 25. The singer’s home island was devastated by hurricane Maria in September 2017, with the storm causing more than US$100 billion worth of damage, killing approximately 3,000 people and leaving many islanders without homes or power. Martin, 46, whose parents and brother were caught up in the hurricane, spoke about the cause on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and the host donated US$20,000 of her own.
