Charity hit by technology glitch

-

Ujamaa Grandmas is a group of Calgary women whose efforts result in donations to the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign. On Oct. 19 and 20 these dedicated women hosted their 11th annual sale of handmade items.

People lined up at the doors and purchased more than $48,000 worth of items. Unfortunately, due to a technical glitch, more than 100 debit transactions failed to process; almost onequarter of the proceeds were never collected.

If you were one of these shoppers, please consider paying via e-transfer or PayPal. Find details on how to do this on our website (www.ujamaagrandmas.com/2018-bbbupdate/). Patty Cucman, Calgary
